Abstract

Effective leadership and communication are critical in crisis situations to ensure accurate information is delivered, minimize panic, and build public trust. This paper explores the role of leadership in crisis management, emphasizing the importance of strategic messaging, empathy, and adaptability. It examines communication theories, including the Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC) model, highlighting how clear, consistent, and transparent communication influences public response. The paper also draws connections between Christian leadership principles and effective crisis communication, showing that honesty, integrity, and service to others strengthen leadership credibility. By implementing these principles, leaders can guide people through uncertainty with confidence and trust.
