Call for Papers
Theoretical articles may cover topics related to:
- The way the Christian faith shapes our views about the usefulness or dangers of AI
- What it means to be human from a biblical perspective and how that aligns or does not align with the use of AI.
Practical papers may cover topics related to:
- How Christianity shapes the policies for AI in the classroom
- How professors have used AI to teach Christian concepts to students
Research articles may be designed and carried out related to:
- Students’ experiences with using AI to write faith integration papers for college
- The way AI has impacted students’ knowledge of a Christian concept.
- Faculty perspectives on the use of AI to create faith integration experiences and assignments
Book reviews that integrate Christianity and AI are also encouraged, including reviews of:
- Crawley, Scott, D. (2023) Faith in the age of AI (Eleison Press)
- Thacker, J. (2020) The age of AI: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity (Zondervan)
Articles should be submitted by March 1, 2025 to the JFAP website. Please see the author guidelines for length and formatting requirements for each section in the journal.
